Cancellation & Refund Policy
This Cancellation & Refund Policy applies to direct retail bookings made by individual customers through Jarjinia Tours’ website, email, phone, invoice, or any official payment link issued by Jarjinia Tours.
1. Booking Confirmation
A booking is considered confirmed only after:
- the required deposit or full payment has been received, and
- Jarjinia Tours has issued written confirmation.
Unless otherwise stated on the specific trip page, quotation, invoice, or booking confirmation, the required deposit is non-refundable once the booking is confirmed and supplier commitments have been made.
2. Balance Payment
The remaining balance must be paid no later than:
- 30 days before departure for domestic trips within Canada without flights
- 60 days before departure for international trips and for any trip that includes air travel
If the balance is not received on time, Jarjinia Tours may cancel the booking and apply the cancellation charges set out below.

- 0 to 7 days before departure, no-show, or after departure: 100% non-refundable
- 61 days or more before departure: 100% refund
- 31 to 60 days before departure: 50% of the total booking amount is non-refundable
- 16 to 30 days before departure: 75% of the total booking amount is non-refundable
- 0 to 15 days before departure, no-show, or after departure: 100% non-refundable
4. Supplier-Specific Terms
Certain services may be subject to stricter supplier rules, including but not limited to:
- flights
- low-cost carriers
- visa services
- travel insurance
- special fares
- promotional or limited-time offers
- non-refundable hotel allocations
- event tickets or attraction passes
Where supplier-specific terms were disclosed before payment, those specific terms will prevail over this general policy.
5. Changes by the Customer
Any requested change, including name correction, date change, rooming change, or other amendment, is subject to availability, supplier approval, applicable administrative fees, and applicable supplier fees.
Jarjinia Tours is not obligated to accept a requested change once a booking has been confirmed.
6. Unused Services
No refund will be provided for:
- unused hotel nights
- missed transfers
- missed tours
- skipped meals
- late arrivals
- early departures
- any service not used voluntarily or due to the customer’s own circumstances
7. Cancellation or Major Change by Jarjinia Tours
If Jarjinia Tours cancels a booking before departure for reasons within its reasonable control, the customer will be offered either a comparable alternative or a refund of amounts paid for the affected services.
If the cancellation or change results from events outside Jarjinia Tours’ control, including force majeure, government restrictions, airline operational decisions, border measures, weather events, civil unrest, or supplier insolvency, refunds will be handled based on the amounts recoverable from suppliers, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
8. Refund Method and Processing Time
Approved refunds will be returned to the original payment method, unless another method is required by law or agreed in writing.
Where a refund is approved, Jarjinia Tours will initiate the refund within 7 business days after the refund amount has been confirmed. The time required for the funds to appear in the customer’s account may vary depending on the payment provider, card issuer, and bank processing times.
9. Non-Refundable Costs
- booking deposits
- airline tickets
- visa fees
- insurance premiums
- supplier penalties
- special procurement costs
10. Travel Documents and Customer Responsibility
The customer is responsible for ensuring that all travelers have the required travel documents, including passports, visas, authorizations, and any destination-specific requirements. A refusal of entry, visa delay, incomplete documentation, or denial of boarding does not create an automatic right to a refund.
11. How to Request a Cancellation
All cancellation requests must be sent in writing to: contact@jarjinia.ca
The effective cancellation date will be the date on which the written request is received by Jarjinia Tours.
12. Consumer Rights
Nothing in this policy limits any mandatory consumer rights that may apply under applicable law.
